‘She’ did not miss the flower show.

As ‘she’’ was going through her throwback pictures ‘she’ said to myself - Good job, lady. It may sound like a self praise but that is what it is meant to be. Yes, it took her a long time to fall in love with herself - more than 50 years. ‘She’ called it Self Love.

When did it all happen???

It all started one day when ‘she’ said to herself, wouldn’t it be easier to fall in love with herself so that ‘she’ becomes the best version of herself. ‘She’ couldn't agree more with Walt Disney who said, ‘the more you like yourself the less you are like anyone which makes you unique. ‘She’ called it - Self Affirmation.`

It took her deeper into herself…

‘She’ began with some difficult questions to herself and answered them with complete honesty. It took her to the highs and lows of her life and then to the ‘whys’ of her success and failure. This introspection gave her an inventory of her strengths and weaknesses. This ‘she’ called Self Discovery.

This was the beginning of falling in love with herself

By now ‘she’ had a fair idea of her shortcomings. It was a long list of around 30 imperfections. ‘She’ accepted her imperfections but chose to work on the ugly ‘3’ that caused her maximum embarrassment. ‘She’ set a big goal for herself, broke it down to many micro goals and fixed it one at a time. This was the toughest part and took a lot of sacrifice and perseverance. True,‘she’ did not get rid of all of her imperfections, but ‘she’ reached somewhere and ‘she’ could function more efficiently now. This ‘she’ called - Self Recovery .

Now ‘she’ was a likeable version of herself but ‘she’ wanted to do the new

‘She’ was on her last cruise and ‘she’ wanted to do something ‘she’ never did before. Unknown to her, ‘she’ was blessed with some gifts and possibilities but never realised them; but now ‘She’ had to before it was too late for her. ‘She’ slowly but surely re-casted herself from a teacher to a corporate trainer where ‘she’ is living her own dream with no fears and no boundaries. During this journey,‘she’ knows things will get chaotic and failures will become a part of her story. But ‘she’ is determined to never give up because ‘she’ has promised to herself to do-the- new. Every failure brings her closer to her ‘why’. Finally,. That is what ‘she’ called - Self Renewal.

‘She’ was in Self love.

She took three long years to lead herself and is now ready to lead others.’She’ happily labels herself as work-in-progress and tell the world aloud that her road will continue to be under construction. ‘She’ calls this - Self Leadership.

This ‘She’ is ‘Me’
